The interdisciplinary research environment, access to rapid metropolitan economic and population growth, and nexus of world-class simulation, space technology and tourism industries co-located in the Central Florida metro region provide unique research opportunities to the potential faculty candidates. This initiative will provide urban policy makers and planners a blueprint that can be used to optimally allocate limited resources while meeting sustainability and resilience goals and promoting social justice, equity, and fairness. For more details visit http://www.cece.ucf.edu/futurecity/futurecity.html. The targeted rank of the successful candidate is at the assistant professor level.
