Associate Director, Engine Services FP&A
This individual will be leading the Engine Services FP&A team and will be spear-heading financial forecast, annual and long range plan process, operating plan variance analysis and special projects. S/he will provide financial consulting and support to the management team including preparing presentations, capital expenditure analysis, and other projects requested by senior management. This function acts as the analytical engine of the organization to provide insights and support ‘optimal’ business decision making. The direct reports to this role include four Financial Analysts.
- Focal point and facilitator for monthly close, financial reporting, and short/long term planning (MML/OMM)
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, cash flow and capital expenditures
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
- Supervision and development of Financial Analyst(s)
- Oversee and manage continuous improvement of planning, forecasting, and analytic tools
- Ad-Hoc Reporting, analysis, and portfolio projects
- Prepare presentations to Engine Services and Finance Senior Management Team
- Manages collaborator/partnership reporting to satisfy JV and collaborator requirements on aftermarket programs
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
- Develop strong business partnerships and foster an environment where everyone is empowered to make decisions and drive change
- Interact with multiple departments within Pratt and Whitney
Candidate will possess strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. S/he will be a self-starter with ability to think creatively and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, demonstrate leadership, and be a strong team player.
10-15 years of work experience with at least 5 years managing/leading staff and cross functional projects.
MBA preferred, aerospace and/or long term contract accounting experience
Systems Exposed To:
MS Office products, SAP, HFM. Fly Forward Planning System, ACE operating system and the entire suite of Engine Services business applications

Engine Services is part of Pratt and Whitney’s Commercial Engines line of business and is comprised of approximately 100 contracts supporting roughly 60 customers across all products and is a key contributor to the current and future profitability of Pratt & Whitney.
