Electric, Environmental & Engine Systems, the NGPF Program has an opening for a Component Integrated Product Team lead. In this position, the selected candidate shall directly interact with Pratt & Whitney on the NGPF program. This individual shall be responsible for managing work performed by UTAS engineering and integrating closely with PW engineering in support of the program. The CIPT is the key focal point with program management, engineering, and customer tech support. Therefore excellent communication and presentation skills are required.

Primary responsibilities will include at a minimum the following activities:

  • Coordination of the interdivisional teams, UTAS and PW, ensuring all program milestones and deliverables are met on time
  • Identify risks and obstacles, quantify impacts, and ensure mitigation plans are executed
  • Monitor, control and report on program progress
  • Escalate risk and issues for resolution as appropriate
  • Maintain engine configurations for development and flight test engines for the programs assigned
  • Ensure UTAS Engineering Changes are properly managed through the UTAS and Pratt & Whitney Engineering Change (EC) processes
  • Communicate effectively (verbally and written) to program team, management
  • Position requires individual to be on site at Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, CT approximately 10% of time.
  • Willingness to work extended and non-standard hours


At least 1 internship experience in engineering or related field.

  • Experience working in SAP and Teamcenter preferred.
  • Job requires excellent communication and project management skills
  • Understands the benefits and challenges of leading cross-functional teams


B.S in Engineering or related field required.

Candidate has to possess 3.0 GPA or greater.
