JOB DESCRIPTION 
  Do you enjoy working on products that span mobile, web, and server technologies? Are you able to work on challenging technical problems and provide leadership for key technical processes?   As a member of the SAP Mobile Analytics team, you will be responsible for creating industry-leading mobile applications in the business intelligence and analytic visualization field. Our applications have been featured in Apple television ads, won “App of the Year” awards, and have been featured in iTunes Essentials collection. 

 We are looking for a senior-level architect with specialization in developing visualization libraries and APIs, with an emphasis on performance and user experience.  This position requires both attention to visual detail, as well as the architectural mindset to write framework-level components leveraged by other team members. 
This is a technical position that reports directly to the lead for mobile analytics at SAP.  This position requires close collaboration with a distributed team of experienced software engineers. To be successful in this position, you will need to have excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with other team members to design optimal solutions for our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead the design and development of mobile charting libraries for consumption in multiple applications
* Collaborate with development and product management teams to define charting interfaces, visualization requirements, and interaction paradigms
* Engage across teams and business groups to provide direction on mobile visualization topics
* Participate in strategic corporate initiatives related to mobile solutions in the enterprise
* Provide advanced knowledge of development processes and product standards
* Work closely with other teams to share expertise and ensure success of multiple products

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
* 5+ years of mobile application experience with one or more apps that require server communication and/or security
* 10+ years of general software development experience
* Expert understanding of advanced animation techniques
* Expert understanding of data visualization theory and mobile user experience
* Ability to work in complex distributed teams with an emphasis on clear communication
* Hands-on work experience developing and maintaining public SDKs
* Expert knowledge of one or more programming languages used in mobile development:
       C, C++, Objective C
       JNI, Kotlin
       Typescript, Javascript
* Ability and willingness to access different technologies and implement the best solutions

Bonus Points for:
* Expertise with graphic languages like: Core Graphics APIs, Metal, WebGL, and/or Vulkan
* Familiarity with source control systems (e.g. Git or SVN). 
* Familiarity with iterative software development approaches (i.e. Agile).
* Experience with UI automation and unit tests
* Experience with build systems for continuous integration
* Some experience with server technologies like node.js or ruby
* Degree in Computer Science, or other technical field
