Sensors & Integrated Systems (SIS), a business unit of UTC Aerospace Systems, is a leading provider of cutting-edge sensors and sensor-based systems for the commercial aerospace and defense industries including electronic flight bags, air data systems, ice detection and protection systems, fuel measurement and management systems, guidance navigation and control systems, heath and usage management systems, rescue hoists, mission data recorders and sensing suites for aircraft engines.

SIS is headquartered in Burnsville, MN and has four reporting segments:

  • De-icing, Rescue and Specialty Systems (GRSS) with locations in CA, OH, WV and France
  • Air Data, MEMs and Flight Management Systems (AMFMS) with locations in MN and India
  • Inertial, Control and Aircraft Management Systems (ICAMS) with locations in UK, CT and VT
  • Fire Protection Systems (FPS) with locations in NC, Germany, France and UK

The Ohio facility is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-op for spring, 2018, preferably from the class of 2020. Student majoring in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Electrical Engineering co-op will support engineers in the Specialty Products/Electronics Department. Work includes detailed project development and documentation of electronic products; qualification testing; support of sustaining products currently in production; working with electrical test equipment; and hands-on product development.


Qualification:

Strong analytical skills preferred
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Familiarity with oscilloscopes and DMMs preferred
Troubleshooting skills a plus
Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook preferred


Education: Student majoring in Electrical Engineering preferably from class of 2020. Minimum 3.0 GPA required
