The F117 Logistics Program Management organization provides comprehensive fleet management services for all fielded F117 engines. The F117 LPM manages the overhaul and repair of all removed engines and also provides support for the engines installed on the 260 C-17 aircraft operated by the USAF and international air force customers. The selected candidate will be a member of the F117 LPM Technical Management Team, whose mission is to provide the highest level of technical support to ensure sound engine configuration management policies leading to superior fleet operational performance.

Primary responsibilities include:
  • Support a team dedicated to validating, analyzing, and interpreting large amounts of maintenance data to provide insightful and meaningful conclusions that can be used across the F117/C17 and Tanker Programs.
  • Evaluate Engineering Changes for fleet impacts, including sustainability and maintenance practice changes. Coordinate with other LPM team members and Customer Support Engineering to determine implementation strategies.
  • Evaluate engine build standards to achieve time on wing goals, trending, and analyzing shop data to identify adverse hardware durability trends, and recommend changes to the F117 Minimum Build Standard that will improve time on-wing and/or reduce program costs.
  • Support periodic Customer Program Meetings
