Faculty Positions in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 

South Kensington Campus

Competitive Salary

The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London invites applications for full-time, faculty members at the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer level (comparable to tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professorships) who can contribute to research and teaching, in particular in the following areas: 

  • Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (including massive-scale sensing, network intelligence, machine learning, and data/signal processing techniques, both fundamental research both fundamental research and work in application domains such as robotics, Internet of Things, smart manufacturing, digital economy, future communications, and healthcare
  • Electronic Design Automation (including formal verification, physical EDA, security, and EDA for analogue, mixed-signal or RF Circuits) 

Notwithstanding the above focus, exceptional candidates from any area of Electrical and Electronic Engineering are also encouraged to apply. 

Post holders are expected to have a proven international record in their research area and will be expected to play a full part in the teaching and administrative activities of the Department.

You will have a PhD (or equivalent) with research experience in an area of Electrical and Electronic Engineering .
