Key Functions:


  • Systems security engineering


  • Information Assurance, threat assessments, & analysis


  • Risk management assessments


  • Cybersecurity in the Financial Services Industry


  • Recommending use of specific anti-tamper, anti-spoof technologies


  • Assessing and authoring of system and network security plans


Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or similar field and 10 years of experience and 5 years experience in the Financial Services industry. Must have vast cybersecurity knowledge, expertise and experience with the ability to develop architectures, lead technical projects and develop cybersecurity innovations. The ideal candidate needs to have steep knowledge of security controls and policies such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, SP 800-53, etc. He/or she needs to demonstrates an ability to apply advanced principles, theories and concepts comparable to those obtained with a Master's degree in a relevant field of study. Understands the missions, domains and challenges of MITRE customers and is fully responsible for deliverables-including definition, completion, and technical quality, as well as assuring consistency across the responsibility span. In addition, the candidate is able to define projects or programs greater than themselves. Must possess a strong cyber-focused technical background including deep expertise in two or more of the following (or related) fields: 


  • network analysis

  • systems/software development

  • agile development

  • cyber operations

  • cyber intelligence analysis, 

  • scripting database analysis

  • web code analysis, visualization 

  • systems/network administration

 



Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience working in a virtual environment, configuring and implementing virtual devices and machines
