Leveraging technology and strong HR team members with adaptable skills are mission critical to our HR strategy.  As the HR Specialist, you'll apply well-rounded general HR experience, keen analytical skills and curiosity, a good foundation in compensation related analysis (including job profiling and evaluation), along with strong Excel and general HR application skills, to make a significant difference. You will collaborate in the development and enhancement of Total Rewards programs and infrastructure, HR analytics, supporting administration of various HR systems, and many other areas. 

Primary Responsibilities:
-Conduct job evaluation and compensation analysis to determine appropriate FLSA and pay grade classification.
-Lead identification, participation in, and utilization of compensation market surveys.
-Participate in the development, enhancement, maintenance and administration of compensation infrastructure and programs (base, variable, and equity compensation, as well as other rewards and recognition programs)
-Compile and consolidate data from diverse sources to conduct compliance reporting and analysis (such as EEO, Affirmative Action, Vets100, BLS, and other state and federal requirements.)
-Structure and develop reporting and analysis of employee and program activity from diverse data sources that support projects, decision making, and activity status.
-Build dashboards and reporting to provide insight to key HR metrics
-Structure and develop ad hoc reporting and analysis of employee and program activity from diverse data sources that support projects, decision making, and activity status.
-Support the administration, research, and/or testing of various HR systems as part of the key initiatives to build-out technology utilization (Workday HCM, Cyber ATS, and Skillport LMS) 
-Contributes to HR department projects, programs and infrastructure such as (but not limited to) creating or updating job profiles, building and maintaining the HR SharePoint site, analyzing and improving process workflows and tools, maximizing use of technology and data to drive efficiency and effectiveness of HR solutions and service.
-Other duties, responsibilities, or projects in support of department needs.

Other Responsibilities: 
-Demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement, growth, and ability to quickly adapt to change
-Completes all assigned compliance training and other requirements, and complies with all company policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
-Intermediate to advanced Excel and data skills 
-Proficiency in job profiling, conducting job compensation analysis (including internal equity and external benchmark), FLSA evaluation. 
-Demonstrated ability to extract data from various system sources to develop reports, dashboards, trend analysis using strong Excel skills.
-Familiarity with data and analysis required for EEO1, Affirmative Action, turnover, hiring and staffing, and other HR metrics and compliance reporting 
-Experience building compensation infrastructure (job codes and leveling, base ranges, incentive programs, reward and recognition, etc.) highly desired, but not required
-Data-driven, highly analytical, and curious
-Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured fast-paced environment, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity
-Solid systems and workflow comprehension (HRIS, ATS and LMS systems)
-Excellent communication skills 
-Strong collaboration skills and works well in team-based projects
-Solutions and client service-oriented
-Detailed and conscientious
-Base understanding of applicable laws and regulations impacting HR
Education and Experience:
-Bachelor’s in business, HR, math (or related), or equivalent combination of education and experience
-Minimum 2-4 years of progressive HR experience with similar scope responsibilities 
-Experience with SharePoint a plus
-Experience with Workday a plus
