We seek a dedicated individual who will perform general housekeeping, inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment This individual will work on a rotating on-call schedule to support plant operations during equipment breakdowns. He will inspect, repair and/or replace electrical control circuits, variable speed controllers, plant lighting, and switchgear 4160 volts and lower. He will troubleshoot and repair electrical component malfunctions on plant equipment and perform corrective maintenance on cranes, motors, conveyors, fans, cherry pickers, pulsorts, etc. This individual will terminate electric motors 4160 volts and lower. Installing conduit and wiring for new installations and repairs to existing installations is required. Performing preventative maintenance on all plant electrical equipment is essential as well as completing required documentation of work to be done and work accomplished. Taking readings using multi-meter, megger and oscilloscope is necessary. This individual will be responsible for reading and utilizing PLC ladder logic. Reading, interpreting, and utilizing stores catalog and equipment manuals for technical clarification and requisitioning parts and material is required. The employee will operate computer to access Maintenance Management Program for equipment history and work order reviews, both corrective and preventive.


To be considered for this position the individual must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); three to five years related experience and/or training as Journeyman Electrician in industrial setting.
