Intern - Advanced Radiographic Technologies R&D Undergraduate Summer

We are seeking an Intern Summer \- R&D Undergrad



The successful candidate will analyze designs using commercially available field solvers, and support analysis and acquisition of high\-quality waveform data from pulsed power experiments\. Perform computer programming to optimize and improve the acquisition of data, as well as analysis of data\. Some lab work will be required after requisite training is completed\.



Required:



You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:



+ Currently attending and enrolled full time \(or scheduled to graduate in the spring\) in an accredited undergraduate program

+ Pursuing a science, engineering, or math major

+ Minimum cumulative GPA of 3\.0/4\.0

+ Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer

+ U\.S\. citizenship

Additional Requirements:



+ Completion of sophomore year

+ Basic knowledge of circuits as well as introductory physics

+ Experience with C and Fortran programming



Desired:



+ Experience with electrostatic field solving

+ Experience with a data visualization package

Security Clearance:



Position requires a Department of Energy \(DOE\)\-granted L\-level security clearance\.
