Come join the Cyber Resiliency and Innovative Mission Engineering team! As part of this team, you will work with others researching and applying cutting edge cyber security solutions to protect our nations networks and computer systems from advanced threats.

As a member of the Application and Transition team in the Cyber Resilience and Innovative Mission Engineering Department is you are a technical leader focused the rigor and technical quality of products delivered to our customers. The Application and Transition group is engaged in applying cyber resiliency frameworks/methods and cyber SA processes and techniques to our sponsors hard problems. As a lead engineer you will apply your analytical skills to tackle the biggest cyber security challenges that the Government faces.

The work may also be performed on-site in Los Angeles, CA.

Key Functions:
The candidate will lead the Application and Transition Group to ensure the high technical quality and timely delivery of products to the customers. In so doing, he or she will partner with Department Managers, Project Leaders, and portfolios to ensure the effective delivery of technical products to the customers.

  • Help set technical work program direction to maximize program impact 

  • Provide individual technical contributions to the work program 

  • Ensure quality products are delivered 

  • Support staff growth, development, and satisfaction 

  • Propose and lead new tasks and projects

Required Qualifications:
  • MS or equivalent and 3 or more years experience in the application of cyber security and/or cyber resilience and situation awareness. 

  • Experience with applying emerging cyber security technologies to government program 

  • Knowledge of cyber resilience and application of resilience strategies 

  • Ability to lead tasks and small team efforts 

  • Knowledge of advanced computer and network architectures. 

  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

  • Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Candidate must possess the required clearances for this IC Sponsor or approved equivalent. 

  • Experience and knowledge in network architectures, protocols and routing technologies 

  • Ability to work on a team with government and industry members 

  • Experience and knowledge of advanced cyber threats 

  • Demonstrated ability to assess sponsor needs and identify and propose viable technical solutions 

  • Experience in performing technology transfer 

  • Experience in experimentation, prototyping, and piloting
Minimum Qualifications:

BS and 8 years related experience.
