The Maintenance Supervisor-Waste Processing Facility (WPF) will directly manage the evening and weekend activities of the facility’s maintenance mechanics assigned to the Waste Processing Facility.

The position is responsible for scheduling and supervising the work of employees and contractors, and overseeing the preventative maintenance work in the WPF. 

The position is also responsible for overseeing WPF repairs, maintenance planning, coordinating equipment outages, and new equipment projects. 

The position will require the individual to work the evening shift and on weekends when the Waste Processing equipment is available.

To be considered for this position, the qualified individual must have a high school diploma/GED and a solid background in power or industrial plant maintenance, including a minimum of 5 years of first line supervisory experience and experience in planning and coordinating major maintenance/overhaul projects.

Must be thoroughly familiar with plant mechanical maintenance and preventative maintenance practices. Basic computer skills are required. Prior energy–from-waste experience is desired.
