The Role

Pratt & Whitney's aftermarket Engine Services Fleet Programs function is seeking a Manager, Maintenance Cost Guarantee (MCG)/Time and Material (T&M) Contracts to join our team. Pratt & Whitney is undergoing significant growth and is poised to be a leader in commercial gas turbine engine sales and engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) activities. The manager will administer aftermarket business opportunities that play a key role in driving the Company’s profitability.

The Fleet Programs function manages long-term engine maintenance agreements with commercial airline customers. The combined size of our contract portfolio is over $30B in lifetime sales. Contractual services include engine overhaul and repair, on-wing and off-wing maintenance planning, coordination of on-wing services, engine health monitoring and logistical support.

A key role in Engine Services Fleet Programs, the Manager, Fleet Programs - MCG/T&M Contracts will be responsible for working with commercial airline operators and Pratt & Whitney’s internal organizations to ensure that non-FMP (“power by the hour”) customers are adequately supported from entry-into-service of their engines and beyond.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating MRO activities with engine center network shops and technical teams to manage the maintenance work scope for engine shop visits to ensure consistency with contractual requirements.

  • Providing support to the senior MCG contracts manager in all aspects of establishing the required processes to administer MCG contracts.

  • Supporting the review of processes, systems and organization responsibilities to ensure all aspects of interactions with the customer and Pratt & Whitney aftermarket organizations are sufficiency addressed.

  • Highlighting where the existing business model, processes and systems are deficient in ensuring non-FMP Geared Turbofan (GTF) customers are adequately supported within the GTF aftermarket framework from entry-into-service and beyond for all requirements including engine induction, aircraft on ground (AOG) coverage, repair ordering, etc.

  • Proposing solutions to identified deficiencies by working with cross-functional teams to drive synergies with existing or proposed systems and process changes and identifying new system and process requirements as needed.

  • Maintaining up-to-date metrics pertaining to key processes and performance indicators.
