RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Press Engineer will knowledge in press operations, supporting manufacturing of stamping operations. Supporting the maintenance and production teams utilizing technical expertise related to press equipment and operations, the Press Engineer will assist in training of maintenance technicians as well as advanced troubleshooting, repairs, programming, and continuous improvements. This candidate will lead throughput improvement/maintenance projects from inception to completion by providing proper leadership and technical knowledge for the maintenance and operations teams. Basic understanding of press tooling is desired.


Qualification:
  • Working knowledge of winters press controls, logic, and automation with Fanuc Robots
  • Basic knowledge of Hydraulics and pneumatics is essential
  • Complete functioning of Komatsu Automatics, Kamatsu transfer press or Minster presses is Mandatory
  • Ability to read and interpret prints, proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks is highly desired
  • Fundamental understanding of PLC’s are an added benefit

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or other related technical discipline plus five (5) years of experience in a press environment

  • Associate of Science degree in Engineering or other related technical discipline plus seven (7) years of experience in a press environment
