Multiple Faculty Positions

 

The University of Oklahoma (OU), Gallogly College of Engineering (GCoE), invites applicants for the following positions in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering:

 

1) a tenure-track assistant professor position in radar systems and signal processing, with additional emphasis on communication modes for multi-function radars in defense, security and intelligence applications. The successful applicant will be encouraged to become a member of the internationally known Advanced Radar Research Center;

 

2) a tenure-track or tenured position, considered at all academic levels depending on qualifications, in the area of medical imaging. All areas of medical imaging will be considered, although particular emphasis will be placed on radiological cancer imaging, optical and/or cytogenetic cancer imaging, as well as computer aided diagnosis. This position is offered in partnership with the Peggy and Charles Stephenson Cancer Center;

 

3) a ranked renewable-term assistant professor of computer engineering practice position. Areas of teaching interest include AI, computer architecture, digital design, DSP, embedded systems, FPGAs, GPUs, HPC, IoT, microprocessors, and robotics.

 

Successful candidates will be innovative, collegial, and energetic while thriving both as an individual and as part of a dynamic team. Existing relationships and experience with academia, private industry and/or government laboratories are also highly desirable. The successful candidate will be expected to have a strong commitment to graduate and undergraduate research and education and contribute to OU’s research and education initiatives within the GCoE.
