Description: Description Responsibilities: Developing and delivering an integrated natural gas system-wide Long Term Resource Plan to meet regulatory requirements; developing forecasting models to estimate five (5) year long term resource plans required for all gas programs company-wide; evaluating forecasting models from time to time and identifying ways to continuously improve and automate the end-to-end long-term resource planning estimation process; building and maintaining a database used as data repository for all long-term planning resources; using the database to streamline the data collection and calculation processes; documenting the end-to-end procedure of estimating long-term resources; presenting the finalized 5 year long term resource (labor, materials) plans to company Executives and all stakeholders on an annual basis; managing key stakeholder relationships (especially with Resource Planning department); coordinating with different business units to leverage historical data analysis with regards to units, crews and Full Time Employees (FTEs) for all gas Capital and O&M programs; monitoring and analyzing Long Term resource levels and resource predictions in order to provide centralized direction to stakeholders for achieving Long Term Planning strategies; working closely with all relevant departments to assist HR in better balancing, coordinating resources (internal workforce and external contractors), developing long-term hiring plans and evaluating available hiring options to support company’s strategic decision-making; supporting the Gas Business Enablement and Process Excellence teams to facilitate the implementation of the Asset Management Systems, identify specific areas of improvement, promote and implement procedural best practices in Long Term resource management in order to drive change, innovation and efficiency; achieving operational excellence by maximize Process Excellence (PEX) impact on the organization; challenging the existing processes and continuously seeking more efficient and cost-effective ways to perform the job; creating project plans and Gas Long-term Resource Plan Scorecard to monitor the progress of the Long Term resource planning process by utilizing new software and tools; coordinating with Long-term Investment Planning team to review and document any updates and changes to gas programs, including the program scope, risks and barriers to implementation to ensure all work performed are compliant with National Grid policies and regulatory requirements; supporting company’s Rate Case Filings, management Audits and all regulatory required actions; prioritizing work and resources in order to ensure results are delivered in line with expectations and customer/business objectives; participating in storm restoration and gas contingency planning duties as per company’s requirement. Tools used include BI software, SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Alteryx, and Tableau.
Qualifications Requirements: Master’s degree in Finance or Business Management and two years of related experience in analyzing performance metrics and scorecard in the area of gas operations for public utilities company using Excel, Power Point, Access, Ateryx, Tableau and SAP.
