Join MITREs Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Portfolio and deliver engineering solutions to address challenging technical problems via our Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Sensors AN/TPY-2 Development Product Office team.  As a Radar/Systems engineer, you will leverage your expertise to perform radar systems engineering, technical performance assessments, requirements development and verification activities, and model and simulation development engineering. 


Required Qualifications:


  • Knowledge of radar fundamentals including acquisition, tracking, and discrimination functions

  • Radar, sensors, and/or signal processing experience

  • Analytical, decision-making, strategic thinking, and problem solving skills

  • Technical knowledge of systems engineering principles and the ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to colleagues, customers, and senior leaders



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with BMDS Radar Systems in the areas of engineering, test and analysis, and systems integration

  • Knowledge of BMDS interoperability and Sensor interfaces

  • Radar modeling and simulation experience is a plus

Minimum Qualification:

  • BS degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
