This position is for a Systems Architect to support the National Cyber Range (NCR) program in Orlando. The Systems Architect will work with individuals from a variety of technical and functional disciplines to provide guidance regarding architectural solutions that meet the needs of current and future efforts for the NCR. A successful candidate will:

- Lead strategic planning of current and future range solutions and services
- Develop and/or review architectures and designs to meet customer and program requirements.
- Develop technical assessments based upon analysis and trade studies
- Work with customers, vendors and suppliers in exploration of technologies, services, and products
- Lead architectural design and development, prototyping, COTS evaluation (products and services), and trade study analysis
- Lead proposal and presentation of concepts for new or changing services to leadership as well as peers

Basic Qualifications
- Proven experience in strategy and requirements development
- Wide range of knowledge across IT disciplines including software, virtualization, hardware, network engineering, storage, security engineering, etc.
- Solid understanding of large-scale, enterprise computing design and security principles
- Experience designing and documenting recommended reference architectures for computing environments
- Previous systems engineering or architecture experience on a development program
- Experience in Systems Engineering and design on large-scale Defense/Aerospace programs
- Solid understanding and application of Systems Engineering principles, requirements analysis and decomposition, system architecture and design
- Experience planning, estimating work and leading a technical team
- Experience leading and conducting trade studies / analysis for product selection
- Systems, Computer Systems, or Electrical Engineering Degree or relevant experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI DoD Security Clearance

Desired skills
- Experience designing complex systems, datacenters, network infrastructure and design, software integration, computer systems and DoD security architectures and compliance
- In-depth knowledge of virtualization concepts, products, and implementation best-practices
- Understanding of current operating systems, information systems, security hardware and compliance, etc
- Strong Leader that is able to lead diverse teams
- Experience in engineering project management and IPT Leadership
- Experience presenting to customers and senior management
- Experience with capture activities (RFIs, RFPs, white-papers)
