Apple's Internet Technologies & User Privacy Team is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will have a proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively on a wide range of confidential and time-sensitive assignments. You will be part of a cohesive administrative environment, working as one team to meet the demanding needs of the business. We seek a passionate teammate that will be an integral part of the continued success and growth within the organization. In this position, you'll provide administrative support for leadership at Apple Inc. We're seeking a collaborative team member with a friendly work style, who's well-organized, able optimally multi-task & prioritize, and take initiative.
Key Qualifications

- Excellent sense of judgment while ensuring work is handled efficiently without the need for constant supervision.
- 3-6 years experience (engineering teams preferred) in a high tech environment
- Work with little supervision on daily assignments and must be able to take initiative in all tasks.
- Utilize good judgment to make appropriate decisions.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness are required.
- Experience supporting larger teams is a plus
- Proficiency with iCal, Mail, Keynote and other OS X based office systems a plus
Description
Provide calendar management
Organize new hire set-up which includes ordering equipment, securing office space, and communicating with managers to ensure a smooth start for all new hires
Purchasing for the engineering team
Process expense reports, POs and record and track equipment for inventory audits
Manage conference room calendars and upkeep
Coordinate/support on-site meetings and events, including room reservations, catering and AV requirements
Assist in event planning for the entire organization and will be in charge of smaller individualized team building activities
Manage a floor which includes, ordering and stocking office supplies, snacks, updating floor plans, submitting facilities and maintenance requests and acting as a security guard ensuring the safety of new products.
Education & Experience
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
