Advanced Packaging Supply Chain Engineer

- Be responsible for technical program management of Intel's tool suppliers.
- Own and drive the technical working group that defines the priorities for the supplier.
- Collaborate with Technical Development (TD) engineers to create and maintain relevant specifications and mutual expectation documents to minimize variability and subjectivity to align with operational and supplier capability requirements.
- Work with suppliers to define requirements and hold suppliers accountable for their manufacturing process flow to meet quality, reliability, cost, yield and manufacturability requirements.
- Drive continuous process and quality improvements. Attend vendor school and will frequently be on the factory floor and in order to understand the tool they own similarly to the tool owner.
- Lead factory escalations and Model-Based Problem Solving driven resolution.
- Support commercial commodity managers with should cost and ROI development.
**While we strive to maintain good work/life balance, this position involves managing suppliers in different geographies and early morning or late night meetings are often required.**

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- The candidate must possess at least one of the following 3 degrees; plus, the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas specified below:
1- Bachelor's degree in any STEM major with 7+ years of experience in engineering.
2- Master's degree in any STEM major with 5+ years of experience in engineering.
3- Ph.D. degree in any STEM major with 3+ years of experience in engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced expertise in problem-solving within a difficult environment
- Cleanroom experience.
- Program management experience.
- Supply Chain Experience.
- Model Based Problem Solving.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
