Become part of the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) Loads & Dynamics team
This position is for a Lead Engineer with Cost/Technical/Schedule responsibility for the Methods and Data Processing sub-team. This position will also act as the overall System Architect for IFG Structures Methods and Tool Development

This team develops software tools for use in structural analysis, including major fleet usage data analysis tools for F-16, F-22 and T-50 platforms. The team also performs fleet usage data analysis for the F-22 and supports customers who perform data analysis for the F-16.
The System Architect provides oversight of development, improvement and maintenance of major tools and processes used in Structural Analysis, providing direction on the best approaches and practices
The Lead Engineer develops and guides technical path for the sub-team to achieve critical organizational objectives, coordinating with manager, program and customer on technical issues. The Lead Engineer develops and maintains several software systems within the team portfolio
The Lead Engineer ensures the sub-team executes to plan, responsible for all plans, estimates and BOEs, schedule and budget inputs, coordinating with manager on staffing requirements and priorities
The Lead Engineer assists manager with staff evaluation, development and training needs

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors or Master's degree from an accredited college in mechanical, aeronautical or software engineering or related technical field with relevant experience in a related industry.

Experience working with cross functional teams

Desired skills
Proficient in C/C++, C#, Java and other modern programming languages in both the Linux and Windows environments

Familiar with FORTRAN

Demonstrated ability to work in an Agile programming environment

Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work, multi-task, and manage time effectively.

Demonstrated ability and desire to identify and implement analytical tool/process improvements

Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide early and mid-career engineers.

Demonstrated proficiency in structural analysis and structural certification criteria for high performance aircraft.

Understanding of Aircraft Structural Integrity Programs under MIL-STD 1530

Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
