You will be joining to DMO QnR (Disaggregation Manufacturing Org) at our growing site of Intel Portland OR which is the home for our most advanced packaging technologies (Foveros, Die prep/sort, Wafer Level Assembly and C4). DMO is extensively working to ramp our new semiconductor packaging technologies from a small-scale proof of concept line to millions of units per week HVM environment.
As a C4 AFO Quality and Reliability Eng (QRE), you will work closely with the C4 module Eng, process integrations and others to extract and analyze the needed reliability data for our new technology's certification, products qualification. Being part of CQN (Corporate Quality Network) you will regularly collaborate with DP, OWLA, packaging and Si process QnR TD teams, product QRE from the various Intel's business units and with your peers across other similar Intel sites in US, Europe, and Asia.
Our OR C4 site, your next working place, are located at Intel's campus in Aloha, at the outskirts of Portland in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, very close to some of the most beautiful outdoor gems in the US and a short 20 min drive from the lively Portland downtown.

As a C4 QRE in DMO/FSM, your key roles will include develop, apply, and maintain procedures, monitors and reliability stresses which are needed to ensure our products quality and reliability. Using data extraction tools, custom scripts, and statistical analysis techniques, you will need to independently extract, analyze, assess, and present inline and end of line data to track our key quality and reliability indicators and flag for any risk. In the case of a miss process or signal from one of our monitors, you will lead a team to identify the root cause and perform risk assessments to disposition the impacted material.
Equally important, you will be an ambassador and a role model for Quality - Enforcing CQN methodologies and standards by conducting quality assessments (up to and including audits) and support external customers visits and audits.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Minimum Qualifications:
- The candidate must possess a Master Degree in either Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering or a related field of study.
- 3+ years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working experience in semiconductor manufacturing as process, packaging, or test Engineering role.
- Scripting capabilities (Python, C# or similar)
- Proven experience in Model based problem solving and familiarity with other industry standards problem solving techniques like 5 whys, 8D etc
- Reliability statistics and ability to draw conclusions from a small sample size.
- Familiarity with ISO9001 requirements.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Basic statistics skills to use Engineering analysis tools (ex. JMP, R) for statistical calculations.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
