The Shipping
Specialist Engineer position is located at Intel's facility in
Aloha, Oregon. The Aloha Factory Operations (AFO) organization is a
nexus with multiple upstream and downstream customers. We are a
growing team focused on collaborative technical innovation as we
play a critical role in Intel's strategy.
AFO is engaged
in all stages of the process life cycle from process development,
to ramp readiness, and to high volume production (including process
transfer to other sites). Our consolidated and fungible charter
includes all process technology nodes. AFO consists of two
factories (Far Back End Fab and Wafer Sort) each one with
engineering and manufacturing departments, a Factory Project
Engineering department, along with Production, Yield/Integration,
and Install/Construction
departments.
This position will be
supporting the AFO Far Back End (FBE) and Wafer Sort consolidated
development and high volume factory. This position will report into
the AFO Integration group but will interact with multiple
organizations and groups. New product volumes have increased
significantly in this segment and so has the complexity of the
flows across multiple packaging
types.
This position will be responsible for:
- Development and sustaining logical shipping system flows and standards, it does not include physical shipping and movement of lots.
- Focus will be split between development (New Flows/Products) and sustaining (responding and escalation of shipping errors across multiple orgs).
- Will become the expert on the flow of lot data between multiple Intel sites including Foundry to Intel.
- Also, it will play a critical role in B2B cross functional project teams for the emerging FBE Foundry business.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and internship experience. This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical field of study.
5+ years of experience in engineering or a technical leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with wafer equipment and processes.
Experience leading interdisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of the following systems:
Prospel
Ship Server
SOD/ULT/INK Map data bases
B2B business practices/systems
MES
