AFO Sort - Etest Process Engineer (Shift 1):

This position is for a Process Engineer at Intel's Aloha Factory Operations (AFO) Wafer Sort factory in Aloha, Oregon. In this role, you will be responsible for the health of the process and equipment used in the parametric testing of leading-edge technology. In this role, you will work in a dynamic and highly collaborative environment, with opportunities for professional growth.

In this position, you will be part of the engineering team responsible for multiple end-of-line E-Test tools in AFO Sort E-Test. 

AFO Sort - Etest Process Engineer (Shift 1):

This position is for a Process Engineer at Intel's Aloha Factory Operations (AFO) Wafer Sort factory in Aloha, Oregon. In this role, you will be responsible for the health of the process and equipment used in the parametric testing of leading-edge technology. In this role, you will work in a dynamic and highly collaborative environment, with opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities:

In this position, you will be part of the engineering team responsible for multiple end-of-line E-Test tools in AFO Sort E-Test

Responsibilities may include:

  • E-Test tool ownership (includes management of advanced troubleshooting activities, driving standardization and efficiencies for preventative maintenance and repair activities, regular monitoring of tool and process performance, data analysis, and excursion response).
  • Identifying and driving improvements in areas such as safety, quality, cost, retest rate, and cycle time.
  • New product introductions.
  • Tool install/qualification.
  • New process qualifications and process transfers.
  • Analyzing data and test specs to improve the accuracy of E-Test data collection and identify opportunities for improving testing efficiencies and rework drivers.
  • Partnering with Fab and Quality and Reliability groups to ensure sufficient data collection, while balancing HVM capacity requirements.
  • Providing direction / training / mentoring / coaching to technicians in the module.

Qualifications

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

  • Candidate must possess BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering , Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related STEM fields.
  • 2+ years of experience with statistical process control (SPC) methodologies and engineering analysis tools.
  • 2+ years of experience programming and/or scripting skills (JSL [JMP Scripting Language], 1-Click, Perl, Python, SQL, etc.).

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
