AI Algorithms Engineer in oneDNN (Remote)

Artificial Intelligence and Analytics team is looking for software development engineer to work in new exciting area of deep learning. In this role you will be responsible for development and maintenance of oneDNN (https://github.com/oneapi-src/oneDNN), a cross-platform open source performance library providing highly vectorized and threaded building blocks for deep learning applications. The scope of work includes development of new features and algorithms optimized for Intel processors, Intel Graphics Products, performance optimizations for current and future Intel hardware, including assembly level programming and development of hardware specific parallel algorithms.
This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would
be obtained through a combination of your school
work/classes/research and/or relevant
previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum
Qualifications:
- The Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or any other relevant field.
1+ year experience or equivalent coursework in the following areas:
- Mathematics such as linear algebra solvers, matrix-vector operations and/or Fast Fourier Transforms
- Algorithms and data structures
- C and C++
- Software development on Linux
Preferred Qualifications:
- Low level optimizations for Intel Architecture, OpenCL, SYCL/DPC++, C for Metal or CUDA experience
- Parallel algorithms development and vectorization
- Machine learning and deep learning algorithms
- Working in Agile software development
- Experience with Intel development tools

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
