The Siri Text-to-Speech team is looking for exceptional Software Engineers passionate about delivering the best possible customer experience, by creating tests, testing systems, and continuous integration systems, that ensure quality and enable timely delivery of improvements.
Key Qualifications
- Experience in C++, Objective-C, Swift, Java, and Python
- Familiarity with test frameworks and code coverage tools
- Expertise in automation, dashboards, and continuous integration
- Cross-platform development experience with iOS/macOS and Linux
- Knowledge of embedded and distributed systems
- Outstanding communication skills
Description
We are looking for a talented software engineer who is passionate about quality, and excited to deliver software and services used by millions of people every day. Our software engineers are creative, inspired, innovative, energetic, self motivated people who love making and shipping products. Are you one of us?
You will primarily be responsible for writing code to test new features and catch regressions. This includes building systems for running tests, analyzing coverage, and reporting results in a dashboard. You'll work toward continuous integration, where fixes can be delivered to customers quickly and with confidence.
You will also be responsible for screening bugs-examining logs, determining what team and person to assign the bug to, and establishing the priority. In addition, you will be responsible for improving logging and building automated systems to enable faster investigation of bugs.
To succeed in this role, you must be a strong programmer and a creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, working across teams and organizations. You enjoy learning new things and creating life-changing applications.
*This role can also be located in Culver City, CA, or Boston, MA.*
Education & Experience
B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
