The Intel AI and Analytics organization has an opportunity for an AI frameworks engineer, who will design, develop, and build tools to ease data scientist workflows. This is an opportunity to create tools to minimize bias and speed up training using transfer learning. Work on end-to-end ML pipelines from data processing, cleaning, labeling, training, optimizing, inferencing, retraining, and serving. Investigate the latest research in these areas and apply it to real world products that benefit our customers. An ideal candidate will have behavioral skills that indicate an analytical approach coupled with solid communication skills and a sense of ownership.
Qualifications
You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences
Minimum
Qualifications:
The candidate must possess a
Masters degree or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science,
Human Factors Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics,
Computational Science, Cognitive Science or a related technical
discipline
Must have the required degree or expect the
required degree by March 2022.
1+ years of experience in the below areas:
- Machine learning, data mining, and information retrieval or natural language processing
- Machine learning and deep learning algorithms
- Software tools and libraries design
- Algorithms and data structures
- Python, C and C++
- Software development on Linux
- Diagnose technical problems, debug code,
and automate routine tasks
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with AI frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch
- Projects or publications in Fairness and AI Ethics
- Expertise in probability distributions, hypothesis testing, and regularization
- Agile software development
- Linux development tools

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
