Analog and Mixed Signal Design Engineer

As a member of Advanced Design Department in Intel's Technology and Manufacturing Group, you will be part of the teams that develop critical analog and mixed circuits and IPs in the following areas:
- Clocking circuits such as Ring-PLLs, LC-PLLs, DLLs, and clock distributions
- Bandgap reference circuits, and thermal sensors
- Power delivery circuits, including voltage regulators
- Security circuits, such as RNG and PUF
- Analog to digital converters (ADC)
Responsibilities may
include but not limited to:
- Performing low power circuit/logic design and simulation, layout planning and logic/performance verification activities
- Testing and debug of the circuits in the Lab
- Perform research and pathfinding work for future generation of low power and high performance analog and mixed signal circuits and IPs
- Developing automation flows to improve the design quality and productivity
- Responding to customer/client requests
Qualifications
Minimum requirements
MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline, with 3+ years of professional working experience in the following areas:
- CMOS Analog and mixed signal circuits, such as: ring-PLL, LCPLL, ADC/DAC, bandgap reference, digital thermal sensor, voltage regulator, and security circuits.
Additional requirements
include:
- Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, process technology, and design rules
- Experience with standard EDA tools for layout, circuit simulation, timing analysis, and layout parasitics extraction
- Automation skills, software knowledge, and experience with Unix and one or multiple programming languages, including but not limited to skill, C, C++, Perl, Tcl

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
