Job Description

As an integral part of Intel, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe - available for customers globally - and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can chose from including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with ARM and RISC-V ecosystem IPs.

IFS will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions, using industry standard design packages. This business unit is completely dedicated to the success of its customers with full P and L responsibilities. This model will ensure that our foundry customers' products will receive our utmost focus in terms of service, technology enablement and capacity commitments. IFS is already engaged with customers today starting with our existing foundry offerings and we are expanding imminently to include our most advanced technologies, which are optimized for cutting-edge performance, making them ideal for high-performance applications.

If you have a strong technical background and would like to interact with customers and partners, this is the position for you. Intel Foundry Services(IFS) Customer support team is looking for candidates with strong technical skills in Analog/Custom IP design and methodology to work with our customers. You will drive IFS technologies and solutions into customers engineering teams as well as be the customer advocate back into the Design Kit development team. The responsibilities for this position include:

  • Technical management of customer accounts participating in customer project life cycle, preparing and delivering technical training/presentations and supporting pre-sales activities.

  • Provide ongoing support of PDKs related to Analog/Custom components, models, simulation and layout; Enable tight collaboration with internal development teams and CAD vendors on issue resolution

  • Develop custom library content and drive quality of design kit, documentation going to customers.

  • Knock down all barriers to successful customer tape-ins on advanced process nodes


Qualifications

This position will make use of your technical background and expertise as well as your excellent interpersonal skill as you dive into the technical and program details of the IFS IP and customer product development. The qualification for this position includes the following:

  • BSEE/MSEE and at least 5 years of experience in analog/mixed signal design/design automation related field.

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting and influencing users in Analog/Mixed-Signal design

  • Solid experience with Analog/MS Design, Simulation, Layout design and verification. Knowledge of circuit simulation and transistor level tools, including SPICE, layout editors, parameterized cells, Parasitic Extraction and EM simulators.

  • Independent, Self-motivated, excellent communication skills and ability to excel in team environment.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as SKILL, Python, Tcl, perl.

  • The ability to drive to closure a wide variety of technical and program issues.
