Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates complex analog and mixed signal electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for analog and mixed signal electronic equipment and other hardware systems. Determines creative design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data. Conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Applies and uses independent evaluation to selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. Evaluates practical capability of vendor to support product development. Also includes Analog, MixedSignal and RF Development Engineers with specialized skills and expertise in developing Monolithic Integrated Circuits for wireless and wireline communications systems and products using CMOS, BiCMOS, SiGe, GaAs Process technologies.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must have a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field with experience in:

• Very good understanding of Analog/Mixed Signal/custom Circuit Design,
• Solid understanding of Semiconductor device physics,
• Hands-on experience in circuit design and simulation using industry standard design automation tools such as (e.g., Cadence Design Systems ADE Spectre),
• Basic understanding of Analog Circuit Design layout

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with layout verification, including design rule checks, connectivity checks, density checks, etc.

• Scripting experience with Perl or Python.

• Experience analyzing circuit reliability such as electrical overstress, electro-migration, self-heat, circuit aging, and electrostatic discharge (ESD).
