This position is for a system software development engineer who is passionate about producing high quality software for demanding data analytics use cases. Position is in Intel's Technology Development, Analytics and Technology Automation organization.

The primary responsibilities include:

• The development, testing and deployment of software applications, including SQL and/or Big Data API queries to extract, parse, transform and join data across data domains for the purpose of applied machine learning.
• Coordination and communication with yield and process engineers to identify requirements for data extraction, preparation and analysis and visualization pipeline
• Operational monitoring and tracking of the health and performance of the data ETL pipelines

Additional responsibilities

• Provide on-call support to customers for process yield analysis applications
• Communicate with customers on application releases, and support issues
• Train customers on using new application capabilities and features

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a Master of Science degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline with 5+ years of experience or a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related Engineering disciplines with 7+ years of experience in one or more of the following (having more than one will be preferred) :
  • Cloud technologies and containers.
  • Developing, testing and debugging SQL queries and working with modern Big Data API's to extract, transform, prepare and serialize analytics. Producing user interface ready data for yield process analytics and data visualizations.
  • Hands on programming, development and debug skills in one or more of the following languages: C# .NET, Python, JavaScript.
  • Experience with one or more data and visualization centric programming languages / frameworks, such as: Python Pandas, R, MATLAB, SAS, JSL, Plotly and D3.
  • Developer automation, continuous integration, automated testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in classical statistical analysis methodologies and visualization, including hypothesis testing, binomial statistics, regression, ANOVA testing and data visualization / plotting.
• 2+ years of hands on experience applied machine learning using internal and open source Machine Learning frameworks.
• 2+ years of experience in silicon manufacturing process.
