Title: Analytics Data Engineer III - 63496

Your Responsibilities 

As an Analytics Data Engineer, you will acquire and connect data attributes to be used in data science initiatives and/or the development of analytic products (using Machine Learning methods) for the Enterprise and dealers. In addition, you will: 

  • Transform data in alignment with data science needs and governance parameters and provides recommendations and testing for production environments
  • Innovate and experiment with new data processing and transformation methods to enable the analytics development process
  • Develop delivery mechanisms for analytics proof-of-concepts to dealers while ensuring strategic data capture and automated measurement of impact
  • Collaborate with catalysts, domain experts, and scientists throughout the analytics development process
  • Create technical documentation to ensure smooth transition of data engineering work to production
  • Stay abreast of current industry developments and research through participation in paper readings, technical presentations

What Skills You Need 

  • 4 or more years of experience in Python, Scala, Java
  • 4 or more years of experience and advanced ability in SQL
  • 4 or more years of experience in a big data environment with a tool like Hadoop, Spark, etc.
  • 4 or more years of experience in POC application development in tools like RShiny, Tableau, etc.
  • 4 or more years of experience applying visualization tools data for validation
  • Knowledge of database systems

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical writing skills 


Education (or equivalent work experience) 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computational Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
