The Apple Media Products Engineering team is one of the most exciting examples of Apple's long-held passion for combining art and technology. Apple Media Products Program Managers partner with engineers who build secure, end-to-end solutions. Thanks to Apple's unique integration of hardware, software, and services, engineers and Program Managers partner to get behind a single unified vision. That vision always includes a deep commitment to strengthening Apple's privacy policy, one of Apple's core values. Although services are a bigger part of Apple's business than ever before, these teams remain small, nimble, and cross-functional, offering greater exposure to the array of opportunities here.

Key Qualifications

• Program management in data analytics, big data engineering, or software development
• Experience with data analytics and metrics collection
• Familiarity with technologies and tools to collect analytics data from products and services
• Experience working on a metrics or analytics system is a plus
• Passionate about protecting privacy while delivering key product insights
• Leadership and gravitas to drive conversations with analytics stakeholders
• Ability to deliver high quality results while working in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Initiative to drive a project from idea to implementation
• Clear and concise communication
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Development experience in any of the following is a plus: Objective-C, Swift, C/C++, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Ember, Vue
• Process oriented and detail oriented approach
• Understanding of both waterfall and Agile project management methodologies
• Successful track record in cross team and cross organization collaboration
• Strong facilitation skills to drive a complex, cross-functional, and comprehensive project plan
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, including presentation skills to all levels of an organization
• Aptitude and willingness to learn, and proactive attitude and energy
• Self-starting, self-motivated, focused, and self-sufficient

* Partner with the engineering team that develops technologies and tools to collect analytics data from products and services including the App Store, Apple Arcade, Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Podcasts, and Apple Books
* Track multiple concurrent instrumentation projects including scope, requirements, timelines, resource allocation, stakeholder management, communications, and risk assessments, both within the team and with multiple different project partners
* Collaborate with Engineering, Analytics, QA, Legal, Privacy, Finance, Anti-Fraud, Marketing, and other organizations to manage analytics data instrumentation to support Apple Media Product features and reporting
* Define business, functional, and reporting requirements (often writing them yourself)
* Take a role in improving how instrumentation projects are managed, including leading strategic initatives
* Support associated onboarding processes and documentation for the analytics engineering data pipeline

Education & Experience

Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering majors preferred
