We are seeking a detail oriented, motivated, self-driven Buyer with a strong background in Service/Repair supply chain. You will own the procurement of products for AppleCare and act as a focal point in communication, and execution supply plan to meet AppleCare's overall goals.
A successful candidate will require strong analytical skills, collaborative and proactive attitude, ability to think broad and to be able to work with senior managers and planners. This position requires strong knowledge and experience in procurement, supply planning, vendor communication, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Qualifications
- 4+ years of procurement / supply planning experience
- Experience in Service / Repair supply chain
- Knowledge of manufacturing procurement a plus
- SAP experience a strong plus, excellent Excel skills
- Sense of priority and urgency to meet deadlines from different partners
- Demonstrated analytical capabilities, focussed on the details and accuracy
- Self-motivated team player
- Ability to multi-tasking in a dynamic environment
- Solid work ethic and a high degree of flexibility
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Description
In this role, you'll work closely with vendors and internal GSM teams to ensure supply plans meet requirements. You will be collaborating with planners, working with suppliers, our repair center warehouse and finance teams. Your responsibilities will include PO placement and maintenance, PO receiving, invoice reconciliation, monthly cycle count adjustments, inventory management for multiple repair centers, stock balancing execution among repair centers and coordinating issue resolutions and application enhancement requests between the business and warehouse teams.
Education & Experience
B.S. degree in related fields plus 5-7 years of related experiences, or advanced degree plus 3-5 years of related experiences
