Summary of Position
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of New Hampshire invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute research expertise in the general area of computer engineering. Preference will be given to candidates with research accomplishments and teaching experience in the area of computer architecture for the applications including but not limited to cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), multi-core FPGA systems, edge computing, embedded systems, and cyber-physical systems. In addition to the research activities, the successful candidate will be expected to teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, advise students, and participate in all aspects of the department’s mission. Acceptable Minimum Qualifications
Candidates with outstanding credentials and demonstrated expertise in areas that complement the research efforts of the UNH ECE faculty will be considered. A Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering by date of appointment is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated the ability to conduct independent and high-impact research in their field and teach a variety of ECE courses including laboratories. A commitment to sustaining and advancing the goals of the institution’s diversity of students, faculty, and staff is required.
