Associate/Assistant Professor - Cybersecurity Assurance and Policy Center Cohort

Brief Summary of Job Duties

We seek leaders in the areas of cybersecurity, cryptography, IoT security and privacy policy, secure embedded systems, artificial intelligence/machine learning, digital forensics, software/hardware assurance, reverse engineering, databases, computer networks, data analytics and wireless communications security. We are particularly interested in faculty who work at the convergence of two or more research areas such as IoT security and AI/ML for example. Exceptional candidates at all ranks will be considered. Successful applicants are expected to have a strong vision for their vibrant research program, a commitment to leadership in the area of cybersecurity assurance and policy and a commitment to excellence and innovation in graduate and/or undergraduate education, as well as an affinity to working in a collaborative environment.

 

Requested Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidates will have earned a doctorate (by August, 2019) in computer science, electrical engineering, electrical & computer engineering, information systems, management information systems, or related disciplines from an accredited college or university with experience in one or more of the following areas: Database, Computer Network, Data Analytics, Cyber Security with emphasis on technical skill sets for research.

 

Requirements
The candidate should have a demonstrated record of quality research and the potential for excellence in teaching. Prior work experiences that use related skills are desirable, though not necessary.
