In this unique global role, you will be part of the CDO office within the Product & Platform organization and responsible for Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Modeling, Data Engineering, Data Governance, Data Quality, and Insights using AI/ML for Western Union. This group works across business groups or multiple domains in Western Union e.g., Customer, Agents, Risk & Payments, Fraud, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, etc.

Role Responsibilities

• We are looking for a Software Engineering Associate Manager who can form and lead a highly technical and dynamic team.
• This team will be responsible for building and maintaining our next-generation software.
• As an Associate Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of a service delivery model supporting assigned platforms through a predefined framework.
• The broad range of responsibilities include leading engineering and configuration teams, partnering with key stakeholders, both off-shore and on-shore, and delivering on the service level agreements.

Requirements

• 9+ years of industry experience including 4+ years of Engineering experience on public cloud like AWS or Google.
• You will have strong engineering experience engineering using Java, Scala/Python with Spark
• Working knowledge of Big Data Technologies (EMR/Cloudera, Kafka, HBase, ELK, Snowflake, etc.)
• Experience in ETL Tools Like Talend, Informatica is a plus. Experience in Data Modeling is a plus.
