Apple's Worldwide Marketing Communications Department (Marcom) designs and delivers iconic brand images and experiences to various sites, apps, and retail stores. We lead all of Apple's advertising and marketing to ensure the detailed development and execution of world-class communications.
The Newsroom breaks news of Apple products and initiatives, and is the official word from Apple. We create Newsroom stories in collaboration with a variety of team members and other media across the globe.
Our Newsroom team is currently seeking an Associate Producer. In this role, you will work within Marcom to support the Newsroom team as we develop content, updates and improvements to journalist and consumer-facing press sites and other editorial initiatives. You will be a key contributor, supporting digital marketing and PR projects for the web and email.

Key Qualifications

  • 4+years of experience in digital project management, preferably at a design firm, ad agency, or in-house marketing communications or creative services department.
  • You work effectively with creative, development, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to effectively build positive relationships with colleagues and business partners.
  • Deep understanding of the life cycle of a web project from inception to deployment, and you are familiar with internet technologies.
  • You work well within tight deadlines and are flexible as necessary.
  • You bring strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You thrive working in a creative and dynamic environment.
  • You are highly organized and love to craft efficiencies to further streamline processes.

Description

Develops schedule for maintenance and distribution to the team.
Supports cross-functional lead to track project progress by opening and updating all projects in Slack, Marcom servers, iCal, and editorial keynote, among other systems.
Sets up project file organization (including briefs, schedules, reference material, specifications, and legal requirements), and manages integration of copy and imagery.
Works under tight deadlines to prioritize information quickly and succinctly.
Updates editorial calendar and distributes a weekly "hot sheet" of project priorities to team members.
Routes layouts, copy, and production files for internal review and approval where necessary, and archives project files and assets.
Tracks and manages delivery of assets to PR team.
Schedules meetings and reviews as necessary.
Works with cross-functional lead to handle Newsroom and Apple News publishes.
Supports cross-functional lead by taking meeting notes for review and distribution as necessary.
Schedules and tracks production of Apple TV+ news posts and content assets.
Manages new product and sustain localization efforts for Newsroom and Apple TV+.
Supports live event production in concert with Marcom Photo team, including room and team scheduling, equipment delivery and logistics, F&B / craft services.
Helps lead team disclosures.

Education & Experience

A Bachelor's degree is required.
