Job Description

Microelectronic Quality Reliability Engineers provide project management, product, process design/development and sustaining support for integrated circuit or semiconductor assemblies, various other electronic components, sub systems and/or completed units.

Responsible for physical understanding, model prediction and enhancement of quality and reliability for advanced products, transistor, interconnect, assembly/package and testing process.

Defines Si/assembly/package qualification requirement and responsible for product qualification or technology certification.

Defines/develops and conducts stress tests, DFX requirements and research on individual technology components as well as integrated circuit/products.

Develop cost effective production monitoring and screening schemes to ensure process is stable and products meet committed quality and reliability performance.

The ATTD QnR Technical Program Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:

-Responsible for Assembly/Test Technology development and HVM transfer of multiple products that are often on parallel/tight schedules.

-Active resource management to enable continuous/effective support to achieve program milestones.

-Advocating an HVM mindset and establishing a strong working relationship with HVM partners to enable smooth ramp of the products.

-Responsible for delivering and managing sensitive communication across multiple technical topics to internal executive management and external customers.

-Defining program level strategy considering the targeted market segment of the products.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Bachelors Degree with 4+ years of experience or Masters Degree with 3+ years of experience or PhD Degree with 1+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering or related field of study.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in packaging assembly and test process.
  • 1+ years of experience integrating multiple disciplinary projects/programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experienced in model based problem solving and familiar with other industry standard problem solving techniques.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
