The audience analytics role is to turn viewing behavior data into meaningful insights for programming, marketing, scheduling and others. This role will play a critical part in the overall strategic approach to building, marketing and maintaining the highest quality portfolio of streaming content.

The right person for this role has deep experience analyzing viewer data to uncover insights about audience engagement with TV content, and the ability to socialize the findings, influence partners, and spark action. This is not a data science role, but you will interact with the team to have the right tools and data access.

Key Qualifications

  • Analyze and build regular reports on how ATV+ content is performing on a near daily basis, and the action steps that can be taken.
  • Develop strategic framework to evaluate shows for renewal/cancellation.
  • Assess shows in development for their potential to optimize our portfolio.
  • Meld viewing data insights with qualitative findings to build a holistic picture of show performance, opportunities for improvement and challenges to be overcome.
  • Synthesize viewing performance with marketing efforts to uncover linkage and inform the optimization of future efforts.
  • Field numerous questions and requests from leadership and cross-functional departments around show performance.
  • Be a key "voice of the viewer" in meetings with programming, scheduling and marketing.
  • Partner with data science team to build and automate reports.
  • Compile thoughtful post-mortem analyses and identify areas for optimization.

Description

Minimum of 5 years of professional TV experience with proven success in the key responsibilities for this role and a passion for TV

Deep experience with TV streaming data and the dashboards that support it (Tableau, Nielsen, etc.), Nielsen data/NPower a plus.

Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a high sense of urgency

Ability/willingness to generate clear and attractive visual reports.

Education & Experience

Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
