Join Intel's Audio, Sensing and Peripheral IP architecture team setting direction for new audio experiences in endpoint devices: PCs, automotive, IOTG to name a few.
The position includes:
Defining new audio architecture for features such as Spatial Audio, and improving existing features such as far field Wake on Voice and Acoustic Context Awareness.
Updating audio interfaces to the newest specifications: Soundwire, SWI3S.
Optimizing architecture for AI and signal processing algorithms.
Collaborating with UX researchers, industry sound leaders, and engineering teams within Intel on new audio and multimodal experiences.
Defining specifications followed by implementation and validation teams worldwide.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
The qualified candidate must have minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 6+ years of industry experience OR Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 4+ years of industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of AI, signal processing and audio interface technologies such as HDA, Soundwire, I2S is highly desired.
Experienced in exposure to design, test engineering or validation is highly desired.
High level of curiosity, excellent communication skills and a high desire to mentor fellow engineers.

Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$132,940.00-$199,800.00

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
