Position Purpose : To be responsible for planning, directing and delivering corporate and customised HR services in support of the organisations objectives. Ensures a high level of organisational effectiveness through ongoing performance management, organisational design, culture and change management, talent assessment, leadership development and succession planning. Responsible for ADP's ongoing compliance with relevant Employment Law and Legislation relevant to Australia for the Shared Services organisation. To be the 'gate-keeper' of ADP's values, culture and policies for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Contribute and execution of HR strategy 
  • Develop, maintain and implement all Human Resources policies and procedures. 
  • Consult, provide counsel and guidance to managers in relation to performance, equal opportunity, associate workplace behaviour and where required investigation of allegations impacting from a HR perspective. 
  • Provide guidance to business unit managers and development of strategies/recommendations to improve associate engagement satisfaction, support career development and align with ADP organisational culture. 
  • Consult, advise and coach business leaders on day to day Associate issues. 
  • Work with relevant local resources to ensure all recruitment requirements are resourced in a timely and cost effective manner. 
  • Participate in interviews as required. Work with relevant stakeholders to contribute towards effective on boarding strategies for the organisation. 
  • Implements and manages talent management programs, eg Talent Management System includes Annual Reviews, Succession Planning & Development Plans. 
  • Undertake projects and support the Human Resources Director as required. 
  • Facilitation and delivery of training and information sessions as required. 
  • Analyse and develop initiatives to improve and maintain associate retention & engagement. 
  • Assists in the deployment of new HR related systems and processes developed and/or acquired at the division or corporate level. 
  • Ensures the organisation complies with relevant OHS and Workcover legislation to include management of Workcover claims. 
  • Assist in organisational design, restructure and redundancies as required. 
  • Work closely with ADP ESI Overseas Associates as required on various projects and initiatives. 
  • Undertakes own professional development in order to keep up to date with legal and other professional issues. 
  • Performs other duties as required. 
  • Manage Review Process, Bonus Plans and Associate Engagement Survey process annually. 
  • Drive Employer of Choice initiatives to improve Associate engagement and Retention. 
  • HR Leaders Induction and administration as required.

Experience :

  • Minimum five (5) years' experience as a senior HR Generalist or HR Business Partner within a fast paced Global Matrix organisation. 
  • Strong experience in advising, coaching and stakeholder management with all management levels. 
  • Proven experience in managing HR based projects. 
  • Strong Performance Management and employment law experience. 
  • Experience in Talent Management Programs and Systems. 
  • Experience with HR analytics (creation / interpretation). 
  • Experience in engagement, retention projects and strategies. 
  • Experience working within a global organisation.

Qualifications /Certifications :

  • Ability to collaborate with and influence Executive Management and Associates. 
  • Degree Qualification (Major in HR) 
  • HRIS knowledge and experience. 
  • Working knowledge of Employment Legislation 
  • Working knowledge of SAP. 
  • Knowledge of Fair Work Act and Clerks Private Sector Award 2010. 
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
