Development Analytics and Technology Automation (TD ATA) Automated
Material Handling Systems (AMHS) group is looking for a highly
driven and disciplined individual to join our team as an
Engineering Technician supporting AMHS product engineering at
Intel's D1 Factory in Hillsboro, Oregon. This will give you the
opportunity to learn a variety of technical and product management
skills, from qualification of new equipment to troubleshooting in a
rewarding and fast-paced production
environment.
Your job responsibilities
may
include:
Perform testing and validation of equipment to bring tools and systems (storage and transport) up to production. Examples include: collecting and analyzing data (e.g., vibration, relative humidity, particle monitor which includes wafer scan, calibration), setting up system configuration in material control system (MCS), conducting testing by exercising the system for qual, troubleshooting, etc.
Drive qualification of new equipment and continuous improvement implementations to bring tools up to production
Gather information about equipment errors in the factory and support root cause investigations
Review supplier qual documentation
Review supplier manuals and safety documentation
Review tool design packages and provide inputs to ensure design meets the tool and project requirements
Perform continuous improvement projects for tool and support equipment.
Attend daily operation reviews
May participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team
Support MCS tool software configurations
Support data center server software installations
Support tool panel shutdowns
The

Qualifications
Minimum
qualifications are required to be initially considered for this
position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum
requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top
candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a
combination of industry relevant job experience, internship
experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Minimum
Qualifications:
- A 2-year diploma in any academic major. 5 or more years of military experience in a technical field will be considered in lieu of an AA degree. A candidate may also have an AA degree in an engineering or science discipline.
- 2 years of experience in equipment troubleshooting, installation, qualification, repair, operation, and project management in Semiconductor manufacturing technology
- Must be able to read schematics and complex drawings/diagrams
- Must be willing to lift up to 30 lbs, walk long distances, and climb stairs
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Previous preventative maintenance and troubleshooting experience on 300mm semiconductor equipment
- Knowledge of process control systems
- Willingness to wear closed shoes all day
- Willing to push carts for at least a distance of 500 m
- Willingness to perform detailed visual inspection tasks
- Experience in computer software (Microsoft Office and database entry)
