Intel's Technology Development Analytics and Technology Automation (TD ATA) department is looking for a software engineer in the Automated Process Execution group to participate in the design, and development of Intel's Scheduling, Dispatching and Execution Controls systems. The engineer will be responsible for developing and executing project plans and continuous improvement programs and tracking automation system performance. The engineer will also be responsible to partner with Manufacturing production and operations team to improve daily tactical operations methods. The engineer will be asked to occasionally provide and on-call coverage (respond to and resolve critical customer issues and participate in a pool of 24x7 support) for software in Intel's research factory as business needs require.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum
qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Java, C++ or C# (object-oriented programming).
Preferred
qualifications:
1+ years' experience in databases and data analysis tools (SQL, Oracle, Excel, VBA, JMP, etc.)

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
