Marcom is Apple's Global Marketing Communications group. We oversee all of Apple's advertising and marketing to ensure the detailed development and implementation of world-class communications. Apple's Worldwide (WW) Marcom Brand team is looking for an experienced marketing communications professional to provide strategic, communications, and executional leadership across our consumer marketing communications.
In this role, you will join a team who work in partnership with our functional groups (Channel, Interactive, Partner Comms, Social and Advertising) as well as external Apple partners to help lead, develop, and execute coordinated marketing and communications efforts.
We are seeking an enthusiastic person who can contribute in a team environment. This position requires a self-motivated, flexible individual with strong communication and leadership skills. You will be a unique combination of a creative and strategic problem solver whilst not losing track of the details. A collaborative individual who can partner cross-functionally with groups including Product Marketing, Services, Retail and PR to successfully deliver product launches and campaigns throughout the year.

Key Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience working in marketing communications implementing cross functional programs.
  • Extraordinary communication skills and are at ease building trust, credibility, and influence across multiple partners in a highly matrixed organization, acting as a key point of contact and trusted source of connection at Marcom to ensure tight integration.
  • You are capable of being the product and category specialist on all aspects of the Brands you lead.
  • Experience supporting, understanding, and improving the creative process from inception to execution while balancing the needs of a creatively driven organization with an analytical and disclosed approach to marketing.
  • Provide support and collaborate with a team of creative directors, producers, and strategists to plan, lead, and execute marketing communications efforts.
  • Work independently and use good judgment to prioritize and make effective decisions for your product and service categories based on the goals of each group.
  • You thrive working in a fast-paced, creatively driven organization, and are comfortable with ambiguity and change. You have a start-up mentality and an ability in making the complex, simple.
  • Prioritize information quickly and succinctly, and love the challenge of meeting deadlines and driving creative work forward all whilst keeping a close attention to detail.

Description

We lead and drive the strategic development and execution of integrated marketing communications across the business.
We work collaboratively with a team of Creative Directors, Producers, Writers, Designers, and Planners, across the Marcom functional groups, including Print, Interactive, Retail, Channel, 3D, Film, and GEO teams.
We advise our product and services groups to deliver creative solutions across many categories.
We work with partners across all of Apple to ensure alignment on key initiatives. We collaborate with the Brand team's Content Managers, and partner with Project Managers, Advertising, Social Managers, and GEO Producers to build amazing work.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree preferred
