The Apple Pay team is looking for Build and Release Engineers to implement, maintain and constantly improve the build eco-system. To support Apple Pay's rapid growth and expansion this new role will be part of the Infrastructure Engineering team at Apple Pay. Help us increase our deployment velocity by creating a fast flow from Development to Production.

Key Qualifications

• TeamCity, Jenkins, Spinnaker.. Yup, you can do CI/CD.
• Terraform, Helm, Spinnaker, Chef... Been there and done that. You know where each are strong and weak.
• GoLang, Python, Ruby, Bash, Java... Yup, you know which one to use and when.
• Docker, Nomad, EKS, Kubernetes... you've orchestrated it all.
• Prometheus, Grafana & DataDog... observability is imperative to success.
• The operating system is just one part of the ecosystem. You're well versed in the rest (networking, storage, DBs, etc).
• Experience with AWS's eco system, Hasicorp's eco system is a must.
• Experience with ISTIO, Envoy, traffic management, and software load balancers is a plus.
• You know how to set direction and build consensus through vigorous debate.
• Ambiguity doesn't scare you. You see it as an opportunity to define the future.
• You automate things rather than doing them twice.
• You're a hands-on strategist.
• You can lead a project yourself as well as implement.
• Love the Lean-Agile software delivery methodologies.
• Love CI/CD and how to optimize for deployment and QA velocity.

Education & Experience

BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience
