Purpose and Objective: Ariba, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant for our Plano, TX office location and various client sites nationwide to carry out application and process specific solution consulting (for a specific application: creation of business blueprint, Implementation based on a blue print, creation of test cases, test scheduling and execution, key user training, go live support, and post go live support).

 

Expectations and Tasks: Provide support in escalated projects. Carry out performance of feasibility studies and solution reviews. Support pre-sales activities. Take over responsibility, from time to time, as a sub project team leader. Take responsibility, from time to time, as team lead and support respective line manager(s) in people development tasks. Carry out detailed planning of process implementation. Define detailed blueprint for development requirements. Perform industry and corporate process implementation across all related applications (SAP/non-SAP, OnPremise and cloud-based). Develop and assure quality of process models. Demonstrate knowledge of modeling standards and tools. 80% travel required to client sites nationwide.

 

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field of study and 6 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 4 years of experience. *Will accept a three year degree or combination of degrees and diplomas as meeting the Bachelor's degree requirement.

 

Work Experience: Experience must involve at least 4 years in the following: SAP Ariba Sourcing; SAP Ariba Contracts Management; SAP Ariba Procure to Pay P2P; SAP Ariba Integration with Maximo; SAP SAP Ariba P2P integration with QAD/JDE; SAP Ariba Integration Tool Kit; SAP Material Management; SAP Plant Maintenance; SAP Master Data Governance & Master Data Management; MS Project; Project Management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall; and Middle Ware Tools, including Biztalk, SAP PO, and ODS. 80% travel required to client sites nationwide.
