PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

This role is part of the solution strategy and research area for the SAP SuccessFactors HR line of business solutions.  Key objectives include identifying new solution opportunities based on organic development, reuse of technology and applications across SAP, and proactively working with partners to expand solution coverage and build ecosystems.  As solutions are identified, the incumbent will also work across other SAP organizations including product management, product marketing, and sales operations to effectively plan for the commercial success (pricing, monetization, etc.) of the new solution and/or business opportunity. 

 

The incumbent will also be a key expert in the solution strategy and vision of SAP SuccssFactors and actively participate in customer/prospect engagements in multiple formats.  This includes individual workshops and presentations within a large event, both SAP and non-SAP sponsored, with the objective to ensure that customers and prospects understand vision and roadmap, ultimately impacting new and recurring revenue. 

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

·        Gain market and customer insight: Synthesize technology and industry trends, market research data and customer requirements to build growth opportunities.

·        Develop and drive creation of strategy for new HCM solutions. 

·        Develop and drive new solution roadmap and corresponding revenue plan.  Build business cases to implement solution strategy. 

·        Create go-to-market and monetization plan for solution portfolio including partner / channel options.

·        Share and Position SAP solutions across the internal and external ecosystem.

·        Stay connected to customers, customer councils, end users and SAP ecosystem (partner, customer, analysts, and press) to ensure grass-root level understanding of their current & future needs.

·        Establish and maintain relationships with customers / prospects, partners, and analysts.

WORK EXPERIENCE

·        Deep knowledge of the global HCM market, including trends, buyers, competitors

·        Prior sales/go-to-market experience

·        Experience with marketing processes, including messaging and positioning, and field enablement

·        Ability to build business cases based on market need and internal ability to deliver

·        Ability to work across multiple teams to create solution strategies, identify target markets, plan routes to market

·        Experience in solution pricing strategy and a full understanding of commercialization processes

·        Ability to support strategic customer engagements

·        Experience in direct deal support to large multinational prospects

·        Strong ability to delivery compelling and meaningful customer and prospect presentations in both small and large venues
