If so, we are looking for individuals who want to be hands-on and be responsible for:

• Developing test plans and expectations with the team.

• Set up and calibration of systems for testing.

• Generating performance, power, and battery life data.

• Analyzing the results to understand why they are the way they are; debugging and digging deeper as requested.

• Concisely summarizing the results.

• Making recommendations based on that analysis, to both engineering and marketing (leading to impacts on engineering, sales and marketing).

This role will also provide opportunities for owning and improving processes within the team.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Being a motivated self-learner/self-starter with an ability to adapt to change

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

• The ability to build/install/debug client computer systems (including Intel internal client platforms or from components) on Windows and Linux

• Working knowledge of benchmarks/workloads/analysis/power measurement is a plus.

• Understanding of client system and CPU architecture and what contributes to client performance and power use is a plus.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field with 3+ years of experience setting up/debugging client computer systems (including Intel internal client platforms or from components) running Windows and Linux or;

Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 1+ years of experience setting up/debugging client computer systems (including Intel internal client platforms or from components) running Windows and Linux
